My style
The focus in my images are the eyes... crisp, clear, and bright. Along with this, my goal is to catch natural expressions of your child. There is no pre-set number of poses or photos that will be taken. I will, however, will take a variety of poses, some simple, some artistic. All photos are taken with a digital camera and all images are shot in color, then presented in a mix of color and black and white. Like no one person is the same, no one photo session is the same, however I do stick to a distinct style of simplicity and elegance. Sets are basic and prop usage is limited simply to eliminate distractions in your photos.
About the Photographer
My favorite part about being a photographer, is knowing I have captured the warmth and comfort of a family, a baby's first smile, a high school senior's youth and beauty, and the love between a couple. Knowing that makes me have the best job in the world! I am a mother by day and photographer by evening and weekend. My son is my inspiration and my little subject. I have pictures of him all over the house from when he was first born till now, I know the importance of capturing memories.
I started my photography studio 2007. I am NOT self-taught, I went to school for portrait photography, where I was taught the "ins and outs" of cameras, posing, lighting, and retouching. Although I am a whiz at photo shop, I take pride in making my pictures look naturally beautiful "less is more". I AM self-inspired, my creativity drives me and I am constantly coming up with new ideas, which makes each photo session unique and fun! After the session
I will post a sneak peak on facebook by request. Approximately 2-5 days after your session a password protected online gallery will be available to view and place your print order. Once print payment is made, please allow 1-2 weeks for delivery of prints. All major credit and debit cards are accepted and checks are not accepted. Orders will not be placed until payment is received in full. All images will remain on file should you ever desire additional reprints at a later date
